This website, emmonsters.com ("we", "us"), is operated by Oleksandra Volchan, author of The Emmonsters Manual book series. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what your choices are.

What we collect

• Name and email address — only when you submit them through our signup form to receive free resources (such as the Monster Keeper's poster) and our email updates.
• Quiz result — if you take the quiz, we store only the resulting "monster type" together with your email, so we can send you the matching resources. Your individual quiz answers are not stored.

The quiz asks about your child's behavior, but we do not collect your child's name or any information that identifies your child. Our forms are intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has submitted their details, contact us and we will delete them.

How we use it

• To deliver the free resources you requested.
• To send occasional emails about free resources, our books, and new releases.

We rely on your consent: you only receive emails because you asked to. Every email contains an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. We never sell or rent your data.

Who processes it for us

Your data is handled by the services we use to run this site and send email: Make (automation), Mailchimp/Intuit (email delivery), Cloudflare (site security and delivery), and our web hosting provider. Each processes your data only on our behalf. As these providers operate internationally, your data may be processed outside your country under their standard safeguards.

Cookies and analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics tool that helps us understand overall traffic (such as page views and referral sources). It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect information that identifies you personally. We do not run advertising or retargeting trackers. Cloudflare may set strictly technical cookies needed for security and performance.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, or until we close the mailing list.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and Canadian PIPEDA, and for California residents the CCPA), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us — we respond to every request.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
